Awards and Scholarships
People-to-people exchange and interaction is vital to sustaining the relationship between Australia and Japan. Scholarships and awards are important mechanism underpinning this activity and often sewing the seeds for substantial relationships in the mid to long term. The AJF operates a number of scholarships. In addition, after reviewing an extensive amount of information, it has also developed an up-to-date listing of scholarships, awards and internships provided by various government and non-government organisations. Whilst the lists are not exhaustive, they provide access to a large number of opportunities to visit each others' countries.
