Australia-Japan Foundation Achievement Awards
Awards reflect the diversity of the Australia-Japan relationship
The Australia-Japan Foundation Awards were established in 2001, the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of the Foundation. The Awards recognise outstanding achievements of people and organisations in the creation and development of people-to-people relationships between Australia and Japan.

Criteria
To be considered for the AJF Award, candidates must have:
- Made a major contribution to the development of people-to-people relations between Australia and Japan over a substantial period of time
- Demonstrated capacity as a leader in the course of activities over time
- A high degree of goodwill and voluntarism associated with his/her activities
Nominations
Nominations can be made by forwarding the nominee's CV and accompanying letter of no more than three A4 pages (in English or Japanese) stating why the candidate should be considered for the Award to:
