Discovering Australia Video

For Integrated Studies - International Education & Understanding

"Discovering Australia" Video was developed to be used for integrated studies (international education & understanding) in Japanese secondary schools. Based on the main theme "Understanding cooperative relationship between Australia and Japan", the video introduces range of issues about Australia including history, life & society, social & cultural diversity, trade & industries, Australian nature and protection of environment, Australian unique plants & animals, school life of Australian secondary students etc.

"Discovering Australia" Video was produced by the Australia-Japan Foundation (AJF) in 2000 to encourage and deepen friendship and understanding among young people between Australia and Japan. It contains a video and instruction materials for teachers, and are available in both English and Japanese languages. They have been appreciated in many secondary schools and even in primary schools and universities. Videos are provided for free for educational institutions. If you wish to have a free copy, please send your request to AJF Tokyo office by email. (freight or postage will be charged COD)
